Caravan Palace in a different stylee !

Reggae and dub royalty, Gaudi & Don Letts deliver a dub take on Raccoons from the pioneering Parisians’ new album Gangbusters Melody Club.

Grammy nominated producer Gaudi (whose distinctive work for artists including Lee ‘Scratch' Perry, The Orb, Horace Andy, Tricky and more, has topped charts around the world) and Grammy winning film director, musician and radio broadcaster Don Letts (whose career includes collaborating with The Clash, founding Big Audio Dynamite, introducing reggae to the punk generation and directing countless award- winning videos and documentaries) started work as a production/remix duo shortly after they came together to create ‘Outta Sync’ Don’s first solo album, in 2023.

The pair were musically bonded by the project and in its wake have gone on to remix for EMF, Dub Pistols and UB40 and now, in a seemingly unexpected but inspired move, Caravan Palace.

Raccoons, which Letts had been playing on his BBC 6 Music show, is taken from the band’s fifth studio album Gangbusters Melody Club, their most dancefloor-friendly record to date and one that found Caravan Palace twisting their trademarks into new shapes.
